BANGKOK, April 24 — Thailand’s Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear a petition accusing 44 current and former opposition lawmakers of ethics violations over their 2021 move to amend a law protecting the monarchy from criticism, according to Thai media reports.
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — Three people were seriously injured while another suffered minor injuries after a Nissan Grand Livina skidded along the Federal Highway near the Templer interchange early this morning.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar said a distress call was received at 2.35am, with a team arriving at the scene within five minutes.
A total of 11 firefighters from the Petaling Jaya station were dispatched.
“Upon arrival, we found the crash involved a single vehicle carrying four occupants — two men and two women in their 20s. One woman sustained minor injuries while the other three were seriously hurt. Two victims were rushed to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM), while the remaining two were handed over to Health Ministry personnel,” Ahmad said in a statement.
