KUALA KANGSAR, Feb 28 — The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, today urged vendors at the Kuala Kangsar Arena Ramadan Bazaar to use less sugar in their food and drinks.

His Highness made the recommendation while visiting stalls offering sweet treats, including chocolate-flavoured doughnuts, accompanied by the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.

The royal couple arrived at 5.17pm and were welcomed by Kuala Kangsar district officer Azrul Sani Ibrahim and district police chief ACP Heisham Harun. They spent around 20 minutes greeting traders and visitors, with members of the public seizing the chance for photographs and selfies.

Sultan Nazrin later purchased several iftar items, including kuih ketayap, curry puffs, and apam balik, before leaving at approximately 5.40pm. — Bernama
