LOS ANGELES, March 24 — Tiger Woods made a rare move yesterday by publicly confirming his relationship with Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law in a brief social media post.

The golf legend—known for fiercely protecting his privacy—took to X to announce he is dating Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.

“Love is in the air, and life is better with you by my side,” Woods captioned two photos of himself with Vanessa Trump.

“At this time, we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts.”

The announcement follows weeks of tabloid speculation about the couple.

Vanessa Trump, who divorced Donald Trump Jr. in 2018 after 13 years of marriage, also shared a photo of herself with Woods on Instagram in what appeared to be a coordinated reveal.

Such a public declaration would have once seemed unlikely for Woods, who even named his luxury yacht “Privacy” to reflect his guarded personal life.

However, his private affairs became headline news in 2009 when a highly publicized sex scandal derailed his career and ended his six-year marriage to Elin Nordegren, the mother of his two children.

Their split came amid reports of Woods’ serial infidelity, with claims that he had affairs with as many as 120 women during their marriage. — AFP
